Camarillo Heights has a traditional approach to education based on a broad curriculum in an academically focused, orderly, positive, and supportive learning environment. It strives to create the desire for lifelong learning in a style that will enhance self-esteem and impart a feeling of the past, as well as a vision for the future. CHS was named a California Distinguished School on April 24, 2002.
